Lee Wai Yee

Lee Wai Yee commenced her bassoon studies under the guidance of Mr. Lee Sau Fat. Subsequently, she pursued instruction from several esteemed bassoon teachers in Hong Kong, namely Miss Angel Cheung, Mr. Kam Shui, Mr. Vance Lee, Mr. Tim Leung, and Mr. Adam Trevedon Jones. In 2010, she graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with a major in bassoon, while also honing her skills in contrabassoon performance.

In the same year, she continued her musical education in London, United Kingdom, where she obtained a Master's degree in music from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2012. Additionally, in 2011, she achieved first place in the Vernon Elliott Bassoon Competition held at the academy. Throughout her studies, Wyee participated in masterclasses held in London, Switzerland, and Italy. She has showcased her talents in various concert halls, theaters, and churches across the United Kingdom, including locations such as Wales, Bath, Brighton, Norwich, Guildford, Waltham, Birmingham, and Milton Keynes.

Upon her return to Hong Kong in 2012, she has remained actively involved in music education and performance. Since 2017, she has been an enthusiastic participant and organizer of outdoor concerts set in woodland and farmland areas, operating under the name "Seven Foot Six and a Half," as she embarks on a music journey through nature.
