Fung Chun Ngai, Jeffrey

Fung Chun Ngai, Jeffrey is currently pursuing a B.A. (Hons) in Music at Hong Kong Baptist University - Academy of Music. He is a violist studying under Dr. Felix Ungar and has participated in masterclasses with several renowned musicians, including Cao Hai, Xu Meng, He Rong, Wang Chongwu, Wang Shaowu, Nancy Loo, Zhu Dan, Warren Lee, and Leo Phillips.

In orchestral and chamber music, Jeffrey serves as the Principal Violist of both the Hong Kong Baptist University Symphony Orchestra and the Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Orchestra. He is also the Co-Principal Violist of the Hong Kong Youth Orchestra and the Collegium Musicum Hong Kong. Additionally, he has held the position of Principal Violist with Hong Kong Southern District Orchestra. He has visited the Kunming Nie Er Symphony Orchestra as Co-Principal Violist under the baton of Leung Kin-fung and Huang Yi. He has represented the Hong Kong Youth Orchestra at the Hong Kong-Hainan Youth Music Festival and collaborated with youth symphony orchestras in Guangzhou, Macao, Kunming, and Zhuhai.

Currently, Jeffrey serves as a Violin and Viola Instructor for Metropolitan Youth Orchestra's Beginner Program. He teaches violin and viola at St. Joseph's Primary School, Bishop Paschang Catholic School, Tseung Kwan O Catholic Primary School, and Tseung Kwan O Methodist Primary School.
