Lee Yu-ching Fifi
Born and raised in Hong Kong, soprano Yu-ching Fifi Lee has just received the Advanced Post-graduated Diploma (Soloist Programme) in Royal Academy of Music Aarhus under Soprano Elsebeth Dreisig. She graduated from Royal College of Music with Master of Performance under Soprano Sarah Tynan with The Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship and Bachelor of Music (Honour) Degree in Vocal Studies in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts under Soprano Yuki Ip.In July 2022, she has won the first prize in the Emil Petrovics Vocal Competition. She has won the open class of Miss Barbara Fei Female Vocal Solo Prize and Art Song in the Hong Kong School Music Festival in 2015 and 2016.
She was featured in “Young Music Makers 2017”, a series of documentaries by RTHK Radio 4 and RTHK TV. In summer 2022, she performed Despina in Mozart’s Opera Così fan tutte with St. Bartholomew’s Orchestra in London, United Kingdom. In January 2022, she performed Poppea in Monteverdi’s Opera L’incoronazione di Poppea with Royal Academy of Music Aarhus. In March and April 2019, she performed Erste Dame and Papagena in Mozart’s Opera ‘Die Zauberflote’ with HKAPA and Musica Viva respectively. In March 2017, she performed Suor Dolcina and Nella in Puccini’s Opera ‘Suor Angelica’ and ‘Gianni Schicchi’ in the HKAPA. She performed as a soloist with Miss Tania Kross and Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra Concert in 2013. In June 2023, she will perform Mimi (Eldest Apprentice) in Hing Yan Chan’s Opera Kungfood in Hong Kong.
