Ke studied cello at the age of 11, studied under Associate Professor Long Man, and graduated from the Affiliated High School of Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2015. In 2014, Ke won the first place in Hong Kong International String Competition, Cello Concerto Class B. She enrolled to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts(HKAPA) with a full scholarship in 2015, and received a bachelor's degree from the HKAPA in 2020. She is now studying a master program at the Academy under Professor Ray Wang and Dr. Letty Poon. In 2018 and 2019, she went to Japan and Taiwan on behalf of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to participate in Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial and Kuandu Arts Festival. In 2021, she was invited to perform chamber music in the HK Culture Centre. She is also a Junior Music Program teacher at the Academy now. Ke Yumeng has received guidance from many masters, such as Yo-Yo Ma, Gary Hoffman, Li-wei Qin, Alexander Suleiman, Nicholas Canellakis, Orion Quartet, Endellion Quartet and Shanghai Quartet, etc.
